Since having moved on from HPPCC to the manager's post at Bassenfell Manor Christian Centre (http://www.bassenfell.org.uk) last July, I thought you may be interested in a couple of holidays we are running this year.
3-7th May 2010, Sea Kayaking. £240
For those who are confident paddlers wanting to progress onto the sea, and for sea kayakers wanting to explore the Cumbrian coast. We'll meet at Bassenfell for a lake session on Monday afternoon, then they'll be 3 guided day trips on the sea including coaching. Weather permitting, a trip across the Solway Firth, and to the St. Bees cliffs will be on the programme. There will also be evening sessions to improve your knowledge. Sea kayaks will be provided. All meals are included.
14-19th November, River Canoeing and Kayaking. £250
Are you confident on lakes and want to progress to rivers? Enjoy paddling rivers and want to improve your skills? This week is for you. Well qualified coaches will guide you down rivers (grade 1-3) giving lots of top tips and handy hints to improve your skills and confidence. There is also the chance to link to star awards. All meals are included.
Personally, I want to add a note of thanks to everyone at HPPCC for all your support and encouragement to the family over the last 3 years. Our time with you was all too brief, but we all had great fun. We miss you all loads.
